One on the Way (Cindy wrote this)

You may have noticed from the last post, if you didn't know already, we are going to have a baby. What a different experience! Today is the first morning in a week that I haven't been nauseaus as soon as i woke up. Don't know why, but I don't mind. We are guessing we are about 7 weeks along but we won't know for sure until our first doctors appointment Jan. 5. I'm very excited about that because even after 4 positive pregnancy tests, and all the symptoms, it still doesn't seem real. I still keep thinking, these could be symptoms of something else. It's possible. So, the ultrasound will help. They will have to do an ultra sound to know for sure how far along we are and when we are due. That will be nice.
It's so exciting to think that by this time next year, we'll have a sweet little baby to share Christmas with. It's still very surreal.
Hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas. We are still on our vacation. We just got back to Vancouver to be with Chris' parents after being in McKinleyville with my parents for a few days. It was nice being home again. Especially since I felt the sickest I have yet the week I was there. It was nice to be able to just relax. I loved it. I wish we would have had the chance to visit some people, but I never felt up to it. It was good being able to see a lot of old friends at church though. I wish we could just live in the same neighborhood with all of our family and friends we have ever had. That'd make it convenient. Then we wouldn't have to make more friends either. :) Well, I'm starting to feel yucky again so I'm going to go eat something now.

You have no idea who I am but my husband and your husband served a mission together. I am sure you have heard him mention "Guymon" before perhaps haha. Ok so I found your blog through your myspace, and your myspace through your husbands myspace from my husbands myspace and so yeah it just goes on and on, anyways my point here with this comment is CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PREGNANCY! We have a 19 month old daughter and I can remember the DAY I found out I was pregnant. I had suspected I was but we were in Dallas at Shane's brothers house so I didnt want to test there. I waited until we got home, and took FIVE tests that night...yes, I said FIVE. It didnt seem real to me until I went to the doctor and he actually said YUP youre pregnant...wanna see it on a sonogram? It was the most amazing miracle ever...a little black fuzzy dot on the screen and my life changed forever. Being a parent is so wonderful and we are SO happy for you guys. I just emailed my hubby and was like DID YOU KNOW BURKMAN WAS PREGNANT??!!! Hahaha...so tell him if he hasnt already, to give Guymon a call. I KNOW my hubby would love to hear from him. He talks so highly of him. Anyways this comment is long enough! Welcome to the blogging world by the way! LOL I read the rest of your posts!

Cindy! It took me a minute to realize it was you who posted on my blog. I am so happy that one, you are pregnant and two, you have joined the blogging world! I was just thinking when I saw you at Xmas that it was about time for you to start having kids, not that it's any of my business. So welcome! I always love having new blog sites to check. I was sick with this baby girl (love to say that) for the first three months but it has worn off now. Thank goodness. They always say being sick is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy. I look forward to reading more about you and your life!

Cindy!! Sarah told me you were a blogger and on top of that you are going to have a wee baby.. that is so rad!! You know I never knew that on those years spent together at girls camp that our lives would end up quite similar. We both went on missions, were married the same day and we will have kids only 8 months apart. And you are right it will be wonderful to have a sweet baby next christmas! This Christmas was so great with little baby Kayla! Check out the blog if you can! www.thedclan.blogspot.com ..I will be excited to hear more of your adventures...
